After two summers of pandemic, Montreal never felt as sweet as today. It’s been a summer of outdoors festivities and live music. We still have a few beautiful weeks to celebrate summer… and celebrate my birthday at the same time? Yes, I’m turning 29 on August 5th. Here, you’ll discover some of the activities I would love to get accompanied to. Don’t hesitate to make suggestion, I love to discover new things, especially something you are passionate about.
FOOD
As an independent companion, I’ve had the opportunity to discover some of the best plates Montreal has to offer. Still, a few places are on my list. If you are interested in taking me out, may I suggest Bouillon Bilk, Damas or Toqué. Places I would love to visit again: Kyo, Petit Alep and Park. I’m also a huge fan of street food or family restaurant : make me discover your secret little spot.
DRINKS
It’s summer and it’s the ideal time to take a drink on a terrace. I would love to try : Terrasse William Gray and Les Enfants Terribles. But I’m easily convinced to try another spot, if the company is sweet!
OUTSIDE
Do you know what could make this Montreal companion particularly happy? Taking her outdoors. The botanical garden is one of my favourite’s activities in the city. Is there something more Montréalais than our parks? Let’s take a walk, get a picnic and get to know each other (under the shade, please!). Also, have you checked the events coming up for ItalfestMTL and Pride?
SHOPPING
A fantasy I have is something taking me out for shopping. I know it sounds cliché but I can’t get enough of trying clothes or sexy lingerie for someone… Workingirls, in St-Henri, propose a private couple shopping experiment that looks incredible.
QUIRKY
Probably my favorite kind of activities! If you are looking for a special kind of date, I’m your girl. Among activities I enjoy or would love to do again: axe throwing, planetarium, mini putt, walking tours (there is one about Montreal sex scene and another about LBTQ that I haven’t done yet!), paddle boating or any other sports in the water!
HOTELS, GETAWAY AND ESCAPADES
On the top of my to-do list in Québec is a visit the first Club Med in Québec, located in the beautiful region of Charlevoix. If you are feeling for something memorable, I would love to be taken out to Mont-Tremblant for a night (or two!).
Otherwise, let’s be tourists in Montréal? Here are some of the hotels I am dying to try… or try again: Hotel Monville, Hotel Gault and Le Mount Stephen (the room with the huge bathtub!!).
